A dock workers organization from Genoa, member of the CALP union (Collettivo Autonomo Lavoratori Portuali) and the USB non-confederal union (Unioni Sindacati di Base), engage in a conflict to assert their rights on different fronts at the workplace. These are people fighting against authorities and official workers’ unions in a common battle where union agenda, reunions, manifestations, are intertwined with individuals’ private events. They look for someone who would listen to their professional demands. They represent different generations of dock workers. They are all on their way, with extreme and necessary determination, aimed at overcoming union divisions and saying no to wars and to cargo ships that transport arms and explosives while they pass through the port of Genoa, to not be complicit.
