On June 12th , from 6.30 P.M. to 8.30 P.M., at Officina Adhoc, Via Cervino 24A, Turin, in collaboration with Job Film Days, Officina Adhoc organizes an evening about labor, built as a three-part experience: watch, listen, speak.

The photographic exhibition “ Il metallo, la carne, il domani” by Robertino Radovix, will be open for visiting in an Indian foundry, curated by Elena Radovix. His work investigates the relation between body and matter in industrial production contexts: high intensity images, in which the workers’ presence – often without adequate protection – focus on fragility and ex posure to risk. 

The screening of the short movie “They Can Hear Your Smile“ by Michael Jirinec (Czech Republic, 2024, 14′), winner of the “Job for the future 2025” JFD -Turin Chamber of Commerce best short film award, brings the same question within the dimension of contemporary work, made of polished surfaces and silent control.

A film set will be prepared with croma-key where the participants may leave their own testimony on labor. The testimonies recorded throughout the evening will be used to compose the structure of an episode of the Adhoc Voice podcast.

The evening will feature Elena Radovix, Enrico Maria Fabbri, founder of Officina Adhoc, Ivano Viotto, co-founder of Barriera Design District, and Annalisa Lantermo, director of the Job Film Days festival.
