During a night full of doubts, Marc, caregiver who dreams of becoming a chef, confesses to Quentin, his friend with a motor disability who he has been caring for on a daily basis for years, that he will not return to work the next day.
Lucas Bacle (France), in 2017, after being awarded by the city of Bordeaux for a call for artistic projects, he left a rather promising start to his career as an architect to become a young filmmaker. The birth of the hybrid project Voie Urbaine allowed him to make more than ten self-produced short films projected in a tramway repurposed into a cinema. This project will be his small film school. He then founded Saint Gingembre, a filmmaking collective, with five of his friends, learning cinema in a completely empirical way, reinventing with each new short film projects, music videos and commercials. In 2018, he won several artistic residencies and in one of them directed his first short documentary film Bientôt chez vous. He regularly collaborates with video artists Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine in workshops held at architecture schools around the world. In 2022, he shot Auxiliaire, his first fiction short film. The same year, he signed the documentary À Hauteur, in which he describes his experience of three years following a troupe of hospital clowns.
