Thierry Taugourdeau, 51 years old, married and with a son with a handicap, loses his job as a specialized factory worker. Still far from retirement, the process of finding a new job begins: employment office, training courses, interviews. After eighteen months of unemployment he manages to get hired as a security guard in a supermarket, but in charge of tasks that are contrary to his principles. He will find himself facing an excruciating moral dilemma: what is he willing to do in order to keep that job?
