During the Mauritania presidential elections in 2019, political leader Biram Dah Abeid, with the support of his people, struggles to eliminate the scourge of slavery in his country, which currently has the highest percentage of slaves in the world.
Marco Piantoni (Terni, Italy 1987) studied Economics at the University, where he frequented the Academy of Fine Arts and studied painting with Igor Borozan. He began to travel abroad after graduating, experimenting new techniques and sensibilities to develop multidisciplinary poetics that are attentive to the socio-economic issues that characterize the modern world.
