On Tuesday 6 October at 10 a.m., Job Film Days, in collaboration with Rai Teche, organises an educational session primarily aimed at upper-secondary and vocational school students, focusing on the restoration of film materials from the RAI Archive. Carlo Conversano, from Rai Teche’s Media Digitisation and Preservation department, will explain the approach and methods behind the complex but fascinating work that Rai Teche has been carrying out for several years to ensure the transmission, accessibility and long-term preservation of the Rai Archive, one of the largest and most diverse in the world. The session will explore the techniques, tools and interventions involved, as well as the ethical choices faced by restorers.

The session is led by Carlo Conversano (specialist in Media Digitisation and Preservation at Rai Teche).

Admission: restricted to schools.
