Adrián is a young Colombian who lives and works in Lipowice. He is tasked with bringing South American workers to Poland, as part of a forced labor scam. He meets the arrival of men and women who find themselves facing a reality far different from what they were promised. Their passports are confiscated, they must sleep in a hostel with other colleagues in the same conditions, they must pay for everything, they haven’t any rights whatsoever and they’re subjected to grueling shifts in a slaughterhouse. Even Adrián, who’s their chief and acts as go-between with the boss that devises shady deals with people, is an immigrant still waiting for his residency card. Adrián is an executioner and a victim. Over time, solidarity develops between him and the other immigrants that brings to an action of rebellion.
