At a decommissioned power plant in northern Greece, a local children’s choir plays the roles of generations of workers from this deindustrialized region. A reflection on environmental decay, public health and economic poverty originates from the voices of the children and from the promise of a “greener” future which will save them from the threat of climate change.
Alexander Raptotasios, Konstantinos Thomaidis. Born in 1989, Alexander Raptotasios is a theatrical director, screenwriter and producer. In 2017, he directed Macbeth for London’s Pleasence Theatre, in 2022, Antigone for the Athens Epidaurus Festival and, in 2025, he worked for the Park Theatre in London. Class of 1983, Konstantinos Thomaidis is an actor, musician and theatrical director. He directed and choreographed numerous productions for the London-based company Opera in Space. He’s also an associate professor in the department of communications, cinema and theatre of Exeter’s University.
