A young woman is applying for a job. A quiet room, polite questions – and yet there is something that seems deeply wrong. As the interview goes on, reality starts deforming. Queen Ant is a dark and surreal tale of submission, control and the horrible face of daily routines.

Michal Mróz is an independent director, a cinema scholar and videogames study researcher. He is a graduate student at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Open to experimentation and new challenges, he approached cinema both as an academic and as a professional, stunned by the translation of the characters’ inner experiences into cinema. He currently works as Cinematic Designer, creating dialogue scenes for videogames.
