On the night of March 15th and 16th, the 2026 Academy Awards were presented, and the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature went to David Borenstein‘s Mr. Nobody Against Putin . Last October, the film won the Best Feature Film Award in the “Lavoro 2025” JFD-INAIL Piemonte competition at the 6th edition of the Job Film Days festival (September 30 – October 5, 2025).
Produced using secretly-recorded footage with a great risk for personal safety, the film won over the festival jury with the strength of its story and its ability to face themes of major social importance with clarity and courage.
Job Film Days expresses great satisfaction with this achievement, which once again testifies the festival?s role as a space of discovery and valorization of high-profile cinematic works capable of stimulating debate and reflection on themes such as work and rights, offering a profound insight into contemporary reality.
