Karina earns a living by prostituting herself on the streets. Simultaneously, she is a blunt activist for the rights of women who are marginalized like her. At the age of 45 and tired of her itinerant life, Karina imagines a new way of living as she feels the need to change occupation. Along with her colleagues, she creates an organization aimed at gaining basic recognitions, all while facing obstacles due to her being a woman with a bad reputation. She and the others fight relentlessly for their cause, for a prostitutes union, for the opportunity – should they want to – to start a different job. They want to prevent sexual exploitation of minors, made of trafficking, abuse and homicides. They are a solid group of women, feminists, activists challenging the patriarchal and capitalist system.
