Burul, a female student in a rural high school, is interested in wrestling. The wrestling coach does not allow her to train in the male gym, so the girl trains alone at home. Her father also thinks that wrestling is not fit for girls and forbids her to train. Meanwhile, a young man living in a village nearby, after many failed attempts to talk to her, decides to kidnap Burul to marry her.
Adilet Karzhoev (Kyrgyzstan, 1988), director, producer and screenwriter, in 2011 he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, while in 2019 he completed a Master of Arts in Journalism at the American University of Central Asia. Producer of several documentaries and fiction films awarded in numerous international film festivals, he currently teaches at the Department of Television, Cinema and Media Arts of the American University of Central Asia.
