Young worker Pedro is traveling for the first time on one of the vans that transport groups of migrant workers to France. While for his older colleagues it is a simple work trip, each kilometer takes him closer to a place that has always seduced him: the massive mountains of the Alps. Pedro doesn’t want to surrender to productivity: will he endure his mates’ transformation?

Diogo Salgado. Born in Coimbra in 1994, Diogo Salgado studied cinema at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon, where he specialized in photography direction. His first short film, Through the Haze (2020), premiered at Curtas Vila do Conde, where he won the best Portuguese short movie award, and it was selected for the Cannes Film Festival. He’s currently developing two projects, the short documentary Subtraction and his first long feature film A Seat at the Table, and he’s also working as a producer for Bravado Filmes.
