Sophie organizes guided tours of the alienation zone of the nuclear power plant of Golfech, sited in south-west France. After a disaster happened at the facilities some years before, where the decontamination operations are still underway, she invites curious tourists from around the world to put on protective suits, masks, and dosimeters to explore the contaminated area on a segway.

Anne-Sophie Girault. Born in 1991, Anne-Sophie Girault studied to be screenwriter and director at EMCA in Angoulêm also taking a Creadoc master’s degree at Poitiers University. In her work, she blends traditional animation (using sand and earth) with documentary and radio creation. With the animated film Chloe Van Herzeele and the docu-fiction Journal d’une cervelle radioactive, she has won several international awards. She is currently finalizing the production of the audio series Cinéma occupé.
