How can a machine learn to read the world? A series of testimonies and screen recordings recount the direct experience of clickworkers, workers from the global south which, labeling traffic images for humiliating salaries and countless hours of exhausting work, teach the artificial intelligence of self-driving cars to navigate the roads of the global north.

Nicolas Gourault. Born in 1991, Nicolas Gourault has a background in visual arts and visual studies. He collaborated with the interdisciplinary research agency Forensic Architecture before graduating from Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in Paris.
