For the sixth edition of the Festival (Sept. 30 – Oct. 5, 2025), calls for international film competitions for short and feature films are open on the FilmFreeway platform (www.filmfreeway.com).
In particular, calls for entries have opened for the International Film Award “Job 2025”, launched with the INAIL Piedmont Regional Directorate and reserved for fiction documentaries and feature films produced in Italy or abroad on labor issues, and the Film Award “Job for the Future 2025”, launched with the Turin Chamber of Commerce and dedicated to short films on “emerging” jobs and contemporary labor challenges made in the European Union by filmmakers under 40 years of age.
There is time until July 15, 2025 for short films and until July 20, 2025 for feature films and documentaries.
By contrast, the deadline for the new “Decent Work for All” competition, launched with ITCILO in May 2025 and aimed at short films on labor issues made by young filmmakers from low- and middle-income countries, is June 30, 2025.
For the next edition, the Festival proposes a Focus on school work, with a selection of three films from different countries around the world. In the film production dedicated to the themes of work and rights, in fact, there is a lot of attention to the world of education, which shows the relevance that is recognized to schools in today’s society. Job Film Days aims to promote a reflection on work in this area.
